Metcal offers several CV upgrade kits to expand the capabilities of your soldering system. The Metcal CV-UK5 Desolder upgrade kit includes an CV-H5-DS Desolder Handpiece and an CV-W5DS TipSaver Work stand . This upgrade kit is compatible with all CV Series Soldering Systems (CV-500 & CV-5200).

The CV-H5-DS Desolder Handpiece transforms the Connection Validation Series into a rework system for applications requiring the removal of solder, such as through hole components.
