Conflict Minerals

The Solder Connection Ltd ensures that all suppliers have taken the correct measures and applied due diligence when purchasing raw materials. View an outline of our policies and downloadable versions of both the Solder Connection and our Suppliers CMRT’s below.

Conflict Minerals Statement

The mining of precious metals such as Tantalum, Tungsten and Tin (collectively known as 3T), has funded Human Rights Violations and armed conflict for decades, in countries including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe. These minerals are fundamental for the design and functionality of key consumer products such as mobile phones, laptops, wearable technology and automotive applications.

It is imperative that businesses today act responsibly by continuously evaluating our individual supply chains.

Solder Connection, as a distributer of Soldering alloys in all its forms, actively ensures that all suppliers have taken the correct measures and applied due diligence when purchasing raw materials from trusted brokers and warehouses around the world.
