Epoxy Resin: Surface Quality

MG Chemicals offers a wide range of epoxy potting compounds for protecting printed circuit boards and electronic devices, available in 1 or 2 part systems. Epoxy potting compounds can be applied by hand mixing, meter mixing, or with the help of a dispensing gun / static mixers.

Whilst minor imperfections in epoxy resins finish can generally be corrected by sanding or polishing, larger issues like bubble and uneven surfaces may require removal of the cured product. To help ensure a smooth finish, MG Chemicals have created this handy guide.
