BOFA’s A1030167 Pre-Filter is for use with BOFA Mobile FumeKART & BOFA AD Oracle iQ Laser Extraction Systems.
The A1030167 filter is the first stage of filtration constructed from a sealed pleated layer of F8 glass fibre adhered in a Zinc plated Mild Steel case. This pre-filter is designed to initially filter out all large particle elements of the fumes passing through whilst actively prolonging the life of the next stage HEPA/Gas Filter (A1030166 ) .
The frequency with which you need to change your filter will be determined by the specific application you are using your fume extraction systems for. As a guideline, we recommend that filters ‘in use’ are replaced every 12 months (both pre and combined or bag/HEPA) or when filter indication screen or LED lights state a blockage. Please note, this is a guide only as each filter will depend on the specific application it is being applied to. Take precautions when changing used filters for new ones. Ensure Personal Protective Equipment is worn and consult your local authority for correct disposal of contaminated filters.
