BOFA’s DustPRO Universal Dust Extraction System is a stand-alone dust, swarf and particle extractor designed for a variety of industrial applications including routing, mechanical engraving, grinding, and turning. The DustPRO Universal includes a large capacity (18L) bag filter and a HEPA fine particulate filter for an additional layer of filtration and increased filtration efficiency to 99.997% at 0.3 microns.
Many processes produce dust forcefully and when low pressure dust extraction units are used to extract, the “energised” dust can often escape the air stream before it is extracted. The BOFA DustPRO Universal over comes this issue by using a high pressure, brushless motor producing 96mbar (9,600 pascals) of pressure at 285 cubic meters per hour of air flow.
This high performance is combined with an 18-litre high efficiency, reusable dust bag and a HEPA grade filter – giving the BOFA DustPRO Universal an effective filtration efficiency of 99.997% down to 0.3 microns and one of the best in-class capture profiles. This system uses a variable voltage motor for use anywhere in the world.
One of the main problems identified with other dust extractors relates to the pump/motor. Most have brushed motors which are noisy and frequently burn out, with an average life of around 800 hours. The pump used in the DustPRO Universal is brushless and designed for continuous running for long periods of time before servicing (minimum 30,000 hours). Brushless motors can dramatically reduce break downs and maintenance costs, significantly increasing your value for money.
The DustPRO Universal complies with the HSE and COSHH requirements for controlling airborne contaminates in the workplace.
