SMTC-x147 are a range of 3.3mm 60° Hoof Soldering Cartridges for use with the MX Series Soldering Systems. The hoof cartridge is ideal for multi-lead soldering in confined spaces, drag soldering and high thermal demand applications. Fixed temperature cartridges and tips offer users a fully safe and thermally effective solution to their lead-free soldering needs as well as complete process control. SmartHeat® technology is unique in that it senses the specific thermal demand directly at the solder pad and delivers the precise quantity and flow of thermal energy during both flux activation and intermetallic bonding phases without any adjustment and calibration.
SMTC-x147 is available in four specifications, dependant on application:
0 Series – Max Temperature: 357°C – Temperature Sensitive (SMTC-0147)
1 Series – Max Temperature: 413°C – Most Standard Applications (SMTC-1147)
5 Series – Max Temperature: 302°C – Temperature Sensitive (SMTC-5147)
8 Series – Max Temperature: 510°C – For Ceramic & High Thermal Demand (SMTC-8147)
