It has become increasingly vital for certain components to be protected against electrostatic discharge (ESD). ESD can cause a variety of faults and malfunctions in electronic components resulting in considerable losses to the industries concerned. Manufacturers can help to prevent such damage by fitting ESD protected furnishings in the assembly and production environment.

All Technibench workstations are available with ESD specification conforming to CECC 00015/1.

Technical Specifications

Any of the workstation range can be supplied with ESD protection, using either of the following:

• Microstat® or Florite laminate - grey, 10⁵ - 10⁷ ohms

• Soft feel synthetic rubber, blue/grey, 10⁷ - 10⁹ ohms
