ALPHA CVP360 LEAD FREE SOLDER PASTE

ALPHA CVP-360 is a lead-free, halogen free no-clean solder paste designed for a broad range of applications.
 
ALPHA CVP-360 is designed to enable the use of ALPHA SACX alloys, while offering reflow process yields comparable with higher silver SAC alloys (SAC 305 and SAC 405).

CVP-360 also offers extremely high in-circuit pin test yields, which can reduce the circuit board assembly process cycle time due to fewer false negative rework steps.

CVP-360’s excellent print volume deposit repeatability also provides value by reducing defects associated with print process variability.

Until now, solder paste with high spread and wetting properties with low silver SAC alloys have had poor in-circuit pin test yields, high halogen levels, or both. CVP-360 eliminates the need to compromise properties when using either ALPHA SACX® 0307 or ALPHA SACX® 0807 alloys.

ALPHA CVP520 LOW TEMPERATURE SOLDER PASTE

ALPHA® CVP-520 is designed to enable low temperature surface mount assembly technology.
 
The lead-free alloy in ALPHA® CVP-520 has a melting point below 140°C, and has been successfully used with peak reflow profiles between 155°C and 190°C. The flux residue from ALPHA® CVP-520 is clear, colorless, and provides excellent electrical resistivity, exceeding industry standards.

This product enables the elimination of an extra wave or selective wave soldering process when temperature sensitive through hole components are used in an assembly. Eliminating a wave soldering or selective soldering step can significantly lower the cost of producing an electronic assembly, increase daily throughput, eliminate the need for managing bar solder and wave soldering flux supplies and eliminate the need for pallets. The carefully selected Sn/Bi/Ag alloy in ALPHA® CVP-520 was selected to give the lowest melting point, lowest pasty range during melting and re-solidification, along with a very fine grain structure, offering maximum resistance to thermal cycle based fatigue. The alloy also yields very low voiding BGA solder joints, even when a traditional SAC alloy sphere is used.

All coponents used with ALPHA® CVP-520 must be lead-free to eliminate the formation of tin/lead/bismuth intermetallic which has a melting point under 100ºC.

ALPHA FLUITIN 1532 SAC305 LEAD FREE SOLDER WIRE

The unique activator system offers good thermal stability at pre-soldering temperatures ensuring that Fluitin 1532 performs extremely well on parts and
surfaces which present poor or difficult soldering conditions.

Fluitin 1532 leaves post-soldering residues that are hard and which can be safely left without the need to remove them. If the
removal of residues is required then semi-aqueous or aqueous systems can be used effectively.

ALPHA FLUX EF2202 HALOGEN FREE

EF2202 is a low VOC, halide and colophony free, no-clean flux which provides the highest activity of any low-VOC-free flux.

This flux is Bellcore compliant giving defect-free soldering. It has been formulated to deliver excellent wetting and top-side hole fill, even with OSP coated bare copper boards which have undergone prior thermal excursions.

Several proprietary additives are also included to reduce the surface tension between the solder mask and the solder; thereby, dramatically reducing the tendency of solderball generation.

If you have already been using low solids, low residue flux technology then this flux is a direct replacement, needing little if any tweaking to achieve similiar levels of soldering yield.

Alpha EF2210 is VOC-Free, halide-free, rosin/resin-free, low solids no-clean flux.
which provides the highest activity of any VOC-free Bellcore SIR compliant flux for defect-free soldering.

It is formulated with a proprietary mixture of organic activators which deliver excellent wetting and top-side hole fill, even with OSP coated bare copper boards which have undergone prior thermal excursions. Several proprietary additives are also formulated into EF-2210 which act to reduce the surface tension between the solder mask and the solder; thereby, dramatically reducing the tendency of solderball generation.

The formulation of EF-2210 is also designed to be more thermally stable; thereby, reducing the occurrence of solder bridging.

ALPHA FLUX EF6000

ALPHA EF-6000 was specifically developed to deliver outstanding board cosmetics and to eliminate the tendency for solder balling and solder bridging, two types of defects which are normally associated with the use of the chip wave. Of all low solids (< 4% solids), no-clean fluxes, ALPHA EF-6000 exhibits the lowest tendency for solder ball generation over a wide variety of solder masks during wave soldering and selective soldering operations.

ALPHA EF-6000 should be considered for use by any assembler who has board designs which are sensitive to solder bridging, performs pin testing, or whose specification requires an extremely low frequency of solder balls.

Alpha FT-2002 ROSIN FREE is a fully synthetic (no rosin or rosin derivatives) cored solder wire.

Designed to be a drop in replacement for traditional rosin cored solders.
