Stencil ordering and modification made easier

Solder Connection has announced the launch of the first On-Line Stencil Ordering System in Europe, a system that is claimed to simplify the process by allowing customers to store and retrieve data from the Company’s own secure database.
Customers register on line to request a stencil quotation, modify an existing design or directly order new or repeat stencil designs. All physical stencil properties and Gerber files are held securely, password protected and can be accessed by individual engineers from any remote location.
Each company can, if it so wishes, nominate one engineer to have full administration rights, while permitting individual engineers access to their own, project specific stencils.
The system provides a downloadable viewer that will enable engineers to view and order designs from remote locations at a place and time that is most convenient.
The system also enables the engineer to review order status and request contact from a Solder Connection Engineer to address design concerns before processing.
Modified Gerber will also be emailed to engineers on request in order that they may check that modifications have been carried out correctly.
