Side Rider
The Side Rider provides a secure profiler
platform for small tunnel bltless relfow ovens. It functions as
an adjustable-width profiler carrier that also cradles the MOLE
and thermal barrier 9.5 mm (.374”) below the level of the
conveyor chain, providing that additional height clearance. Width
expands up to 343 mm (13.5”) with one outrigger.
This eliminates two large problems for rial-only
ovens with tight tunnel space; the profiler will not get stuck
in the tunnel and it is impossible for the profiler to fall form
the Side Rider and be damaged in the oven.
A Side Rider kit includes 140mm (5.5”)
and 165 mm (6.5”) cradling trays, a 3 rd 140mm (5.5”)
flat tray for ovens with a center rail support, one outrigger scissors-action
extension and a carry pouch. The Side Rider is ruggedly designed
with stainless steel for long life.

MOLE Chiller
The MOLE Chiller enables your next profile
in half the time with its active cool-air convection. It is important
not to exceed thermal barrier time/temperature ratings by always
beginning with a room temperature profiler and barrier (or OvenRIDER/WaveRIDER/ReworkRIDER)
MOLE Chiller speeds you to the next profile, making you more productive.

Thermal Barriers
A thermal barrier is the protection the
SuperMOLE needs to ensure longevity through harsh environments.
The 1” Uni-Barrier is the standard barrier in all our profiling
kits, including the wireless RF kit. With piano-hinged stainless
steel construction, this barrier is rated for 11 minutes a t 250C
steady state ambient, ideal for reflow and wave soldering work.
Uni-Barrier has reduced weight, is 25.4 mm (1”) thin and,
it cools in half the time - with the same performance. Conveyed
with Side Rider, only 25.4 mm (.627”) of above-chain clearance
is required - great for low clearance ovens.
Our unique Nested pair barrier system doubles
the duration oat 250C, and the EDC Boot seals the SuperMOLE to
conduct vapour phase reflow oven profiles.

Thermocouple Sensors
The colour-indexing of the Xpert-Ready SuperMOLE
Gold and thermocouples are the same colour right through to the
Software. Our standard 3-foot (915mm) length thermocouple sets
match the channel colours in our SPC software programs. Now you
can instantly tell what channel every instrumented component maps
to . Available in both 36 gauge (.127mm/.005” diameter) and
30 gauge (.254mm/.010” diameter) in micro or miniature connector
styles to suit your profiler. Insulation is PFA for a 260C (500F)
rating.
Packages of 6 colour-indexed thermocouples
include an index label for your MOLE, a sample of high temperature
solder, strips of Kapton and aluminium tape and an organizer sleeve.
ECD specifies special limits of error grade
thermocouples for +-1C sensor accuracy.
Glass Overbraid, glass with Stainless steel
overbraid and Inconel sheath thermocouples of various lengths are
available as well.
